JavaESB©©Version 2.0
JavaESB© 2.0 allows ESB developed expert systems to be deployed onto the internet. It uses the latest Java technology from Sun Microsystems to provide a highly configurable (see below) and professional interface to your ESB Expert System. In order to view the demo on this page you must have the Java 2.0 standard edition runtime environment installed (JRE). This is available free of charge here.

Demonstration
The following demonstration illustrates the capabilities of JavaESB© version 2.0. The system in this demonstration identifies faults in a card printing machine manufactured and sold by a fictional company named 'Trala Electronics'. The interface is branded with the company's logo and is able to identify those faults that the end user is capable of rectifying themselves. The system presents the most likely problems in order of confidence - then the user is then able to click a link that tells them what to do.

Configuration
JavaESB© 2.0 is highly configurable (considerably more so than version 1). The following aspects of the applets appearance can be configured:

  • The background image.
  • The colours of all text.
  • The text on each individual button (images can also be used in lieu of text)
  • The position of each button on the applet.
  • The text and colour of the slider controls (for questions of that type).
  • The width and depth of the actual applet.

Deployment
JavaESB© 2.0 systems are relatively simple to deploy (although there is no 'Windows Like' automatic installer). The system is first developed and tested with the standard PC based ESB. The system files created using standard ESB are then uploaded (using FTP) to the target site together with the JavaESB© files. The HTML page that displays JavaESB© (and your system) needs to be configured with some simple parameters, a full description of which are supplied to registered users. There is no Java programming experience needed although experience of HTML will help.

Licensing
JavaESB© 2.0 is licensed on a per domain basis (i.e. www.mysite.com) and is considerably cheaper than commercial expert systems (such as Dezide). You can purchase a license here.

Downloads
JavaESB© 2.0 is not available for download as it is only supplied to registered users.
